As Chairman and CEO of Point Spring & Driveshaft Co. until his passing in December 2021, Bill Ryan led with a rare mix of quick wit, deep integrity, and boundless generosity. To Bill, the company, its employees, and its customers were never just business—they were extended family.
Guided by values passed down from his parents, giving back was second nature to Bill and his wife, Mary. Whether supporting his beloved alma maters (North Catholic and Notre Dame), his local parish of Saint Alphonsus, or community causes across the greater Pittsburgh region, Bill was always the first person to step up whenever someone was in need.
Bill lived to lift others up and ensure everyone felt cared for and included. We created the Bill Ryan Toy Drive to carry that generous spirit forward—bringing the warmth, dignity, and holiday magic he believed every child deserves.
What We Are Collecting
All donated physical items must be brand-new and unwrapped.
- Toys & Games: For children of all ages (infants through teens)
- Winter Essentials: Heavy winter coats (assorted sizes), hats, gloves, scarves, and warm socks
- School & Daily Supplies: Backpacks and school gear
- Monetary Donations: Contributions used directly to purchase requested items for local families
How to Donate
- Drop Off in Person: Bring new, unwrapped items to the front counter at any Point Spring & Driveshaft Co. location during regular business hours between November 16th and December 16th.
- Monetary Donations: Prefer to let our team do the shopping? Monetary donations can be made directly at the front desk of any branch.
